Facebook Post (Spec)
Client: Supplement Queens
Audience: Mostly 35-65 year old females who like and use supplements but aren’t hardcore in the supplement world. Well-educated with successful careers.
Challenge: Increase blog post views.
Tone: Knowledgeable, Relatable, Engaging, Empathetic (UK Spelling & Grammar)
Strategy: I focused on the benefit of a good night’s sleep in the headline to pique interest. Readers don’t care about “read my blog” but 35-65-year-old women do care about sleep!
Then I pushed on the pain point of not-sleeping and heat to keep them reading, build authority, and empathize.
Next, I quickly provided the solution. I used emojis to draw the skimmer’s eye down and highlight the features: the Roman Empire would be of interest to these well-educated ladies and it demonstrates the authority of Valerian root.
Finally, the benefits of feeling rested and having energy speak directly to the busy-life needs of the audience.
Leaving the Bitly link highlighted in blue with a bright emoji next to it also draws the eye to the CTA. Including the blog post image, title, and first line will also catch the attention of fast-scrollers so they peak back up to the post and click through.
